Being a musician and nonetheless the drummer, it’s always exciting when new instruments are released. The fact that I have for 8 years been working in a marketing department of one of world’s biggest music instrument manufacturers has its perks, even after leaving the job.

Few days ago Roland released a number of new products, amongst them the brand new flagship digital drum set TD-50KV. As a former colleague I had the chance to try out the drums before they hit the stores in the headquarters of Roland Scandinavia in Copenhagen (which is located on my bike commute to work).
